WarrantyNow announced today it has ceased operations.

WarrantyNow Co-founder and Chairman of the Board Ron Goedendorp cited an unfriendly funding environment for the decision to discontinue operations. "Since its inception," Goedendorp said, "SomethingNow (WarrantyNow) has focused on delivering value to our shareholders and partners. We felt strongly that our model was valuable and one that would succeed. Despite the efforts of the executives and all those who have given us tremendous support, we were unable to move against the tide of the current financial markets.
