Appoints Adrian Vanzel CEO

Brings Business Development and Technology Implementation Expertise
to Expand Company's Online Service Plan Business

leading enabler of electronic commerce product protection
plans, today announced the appointment of Dr. Adrian Vanzyl as CEO. In this position, Vanzyl will lead the company's efforts to expand
and enhance its service plan solutions for e-commerce purchases.
He brings to WarrantyNow a broad range of management experience
in business development, technology implementation and Internet
research.
Vanzyl joins WarrantyNow after a successful tenure as Group
Business Development Manager for bCentral, Microsoft's Web-based
small-business portal. In this role, he managed the group
responsible for driving the company's business efforts, as well
as establishing strategic partnerships, on a worldwide basis.
Prior to bCentral, Vanzyl was vice president international
for LinkExchange, which Microsoft acquired in 1998.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Vanzyl built the U.S.-based team
of engineers for LookSmart, where as chief technology officer
he was responsible for improving the overall performance of
the company's product, while also managing the process of integrating key partners such as Alta Vista. He was a member of
the LookSmart executive management committee, contributing
to strategic relationships and capital raising efforts.
Before LookSmart, Vanzyl was chief technology officer for
Sausage Software, located in Australia, where he was responsible
for managing a team of over 50 engineers, as well as key partner
relationships. He was a member of the three-person board of directors that guided the company through a successful public offering
and establishment of the first Internet software company on
the Australian Stock Exchange.
