Jim Daniell as New CEO Seasoned Executive Appointed to Continue
Company's Growth Momentum in Expanding Collaborative Logistics Space
CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 2, 2001--Celarix, Inc.
(www.celarix.com), the leading
provider of collaborative logistics solutions, today announced the
appointment of Jim Daniell as chief executive officer.
Daniell, former president and CEO of OrderTrust, Inc., a provider
of outsourced e-commerce infrastructure services, succeeds Evan
Schumacher, who will continue as founder and vice-chairman of Celarix.
As CEO of Celarix, Daniell will be charged with managing the day-to-day
operations of the company and continuing to shape its vision, while
Schumacher will continue as Celarix' evangelist and support Jim
in the continued development of the company.

As the former president and CEO of OrderTrust, Daniell was responsible
for all aspects of the company's business operations and strategy.
During his tenure, he led high growth networking companies specializing
in the application of advanced technology in emerging markets. Daniell
joined OrderTrust in 1997, after serving as chief operating officer
of AT&T's Network Commerce Services, where he oversaw the company's
Web-hosting, Web-connectivity, e-commerce, call center solutions
and managed connectivity solutions divisions.
Prior to AT&T, Daniell worked in both large and small entrepreneurial
environments, including the AT&T Bell Labs corporate spin-off
of UNIX System Laboratories. He got his start in technology, building
networking and client/server products at Software AG of North America.
Daniell is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, where he earned
a doctorate in electrical and computer engineering, and of the University
of Connecticut, where he earned a joint bachelor's and master's
degree in computer science and engineering.
