Abercrombie & Fitch Selects Celarix to Improve Supply Chain Efficiency

Web-Based Technology to Connect Leading Apparel Retailer With Trading Partners and Track Product Shipments

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 27, 2000-- Celarix, Inc. Abercrombie & Fitch sells upscale, casual apparel for men, women and children through a subscription catalog, the Abercrombie & Fitch Web-site and more than 300 retail outlets nationwide, including Abercrombie & Fitch (adults), abercrombie (children) and Hollister Co. Celarix' Shipper Solution will be used by Abercrombie & Fitch to improve its retail planning, inventory and distribution needs through automatically tracking product movements for all of the company's orders, down to the SKU level, from the time the shipments leave the factory until their arrival at the distribution center. Real-time updates and rules-based reports will alert shippers and managers to potential problems before they arise.
