Vadia, Inc. has announced it is changing its name to BrightSAGE, Inc. BrightSAGE, Inc., based in Chicago, is a an eCommerce business solutions provider (BSP) that provides customers with the technology, applications and strategic services to establish and manage a profitable online sales channel. BrightSAGE, Inc. was recently spun-off from EthnicGrocer.com, an online marketplace for ethnic foods and products. BrightSAGE, Inc. consists of EthnicGrocer's (now TransEthnic.com) existing technology and infrastructure operations and continues to provide that company's infrastructure solutions. BrightSAGE, Inc. has also announced it will be acquiring a California-based supply chain technology company for about $40 million. The combined entity will provide e-commerce applications, customer service and back-end technologies to retailers and manufacturers.
