Captain: Paul Votava
Captain Paul Votava is a professional pilot for Kimberly Clark of Appleton and flies regular corporate aviation trips in heavy jet aircraft: Challenger, Citation Six, and Lear 35. That level of equipment has not always been his experience. Paul began flying agriculture crop spraying airplane. He joined Basler Aviation in 1985 and worked his way up the professional aviation system from mechanic, co-pilot to captain pilot in command. He has logged 5,500 hours in the DC3 equally divided between the piston and turbo versions. He was Chief Pilot of Basler Aviation before joining KC three years ago.

First Officer: Kevin Lemke
Kevin could never choose between two career opportunities - COP or PILOT. So, he has happily done both well. Kevin has logged 1,000 hours in DC3's, as a crewmember for Basler Aviation. His goal to join an airline in his younger days was interrupted by the good fortune of starting a family. In 1978, he was a dispatcher for the Fond du Lac Police Department. He worked through the ranks as a patrolman, Sargent and Lieutenant and is now a Captain in charge of media relations. Kevin has given leadership to the Police Department implementation of online and internet services implementing website and email. His aviation training and experiences fully qualify him to serve as a full crewmember of a DC3 flight crew.

First Officer in Training: D. G. Jones
On June 8, 1970 at age 25, Don Jones was deemed worthy of an FAA Airman's Certificate. His trembling knees were so long that the truth of nervousness was not so apparent to H. K. Picco, the FAA Examiner in Decatur, Illinois. Don flew as pilot in command single and twin engine aircraft until 1982, logging 1,135 hours in five classes of airplanes. From 1982 - 1992, Don administered flight operations of his company, which utilized three midsize jets, including Lear 35 and Westwind and turbo prop Beech King Air. He is currently enrolled in several months of training to become a qualified crewmember of the DC3. Aviation has been an instrumental business travel tool of Don's professional and personal life as an American Entrepreneur. The DC3 943DJ is the 15th aircraft he has owned since that first FAA checkride in 1970.
