Technology Alliance Enables Plumtree’s Customers to Drive Adoption of Plumtree Corporate Portal

BURLINGAME — October 22, 2002 — AtHoc, Inc. today announced the launch of AtHoc™ Active Portal featuring Enterprise Alerts and Portal Toolbar for the Plumtree Corporate Portal. AtHoc’s software brings powerful enterprise alerting capabilities to the Plumtree Corporate Portal, giving customers the ability to notify employees when new events take place even if users are away from the portal environment. As a result of integrating AtHoc Active Portal with Plumtree, joint customers are able to increase the adoption and usage of their portal and maximize the return on their portal investment.

Plumtree customer the United States Geological Survey (USGS) recently deployed the joint AtHoc-Plumtree implementation.   • Alerts Publishing and Management system enables the administrator to efficiently aggregate and manage all alerts from portals, business applications and content sources
