The FANCARD.NET Program Nets 100,000 Fans in One Month

For Immediate Release
May  09, 2000

The saying, "April showers bring May flowers," holds true for AIM Technologies, Inc. The unprecedented rate of growth of their FANCARD.NET program in the month of April has brought more than 100,000 new members into the program by May, expanding the FANCARD.NET database by 30 percent.

This growth coincides with  AIM's expansion in professional baseball. Forty-six pro-baseball clubs are  currently participating in the FANCARD.NET program, nearly a 700 percent  increase in the number of partnering teams from the 1999 season.

New program sign-ups are  only one aspect of the FANCARD.NET program's success in April. Not only are  members signing up in record numbers, but these fans are also attending more  games. Almost 300,000 card swipes were registered at kiosks from April 3  (opening day for Major League Baseball in the US) to May 3.

The www.FANCARD.NET online program is also showing  tremendous growth. Since January 1, 2000, 10,000 sports fans have enrolled  online in their favorite team's rewards program.

About the FANCARD.NET Program

AIM Technologies'  flagship product, the FANCARD.NETâ„¢ program, is a high-tech, interactive  marketing program that provides sports teams and sponsors with information about  their customers-information that allows sponsors to target their customers and  teams to thank their fans.

Here's how it works: Fans  sign up online or at the game for a free membership to the FANCARD.NET program.  At the game, they pick up an ATM-style card that they swipe at any one of AIM's  specially designed kiosks located around the venue. Every time members attend a  game or event, they receive points that accumulate during the season. These  points entitle members to prizes, which may include free soft drinks, game  tickets, autographed team jerseys, suite nights, and introductions to favorite  players. The more events members attend, the greater the rewards.
