FoodUSA.com, Inc. specializes in enabling business-to-business transactions within the meat processing industry. The Company's service is targeted at livestock slaughterhouses and meat processors in the poultry, beef and pork industries who, in the normal course of processing meat, produce raw and processed product that must be sold on the spot market.

The Company is creating an electronic spot market to aggregate buyers and sellers who wish to eliminate non-value added costs from the sales chain for slaughterhouses and meat processors. The FoodUSA spot market will improve the reach and exposure of sellers, expand the scope of supply for buyers, and create a more efficient price discovery mechanism that will generate increased liquidity and more accurate pricing for this market.

The Company will create an exchange with value-added services for participants set to include:

Key management staff:

Rod Heller - Business Development Officer and founder. Mr. Heller has 14 years of sales and marketing experience, the last six in the wholesale food industry, where he is well known to many of the major buying groups.

Bob Gielissen - Chief Operating Officer. An 18 year veteran of the meat industry, Mr. Gielissen comes to FoodUSA from Johnsonville Sausage Company where he was Director of Manufacturing. He has held numerous positions that included front line supervisor to executive management.

Jim Gochee - Chief Technical Officer. Mr. Gochee previously held positions as lead engineer at Connectix Corporation and senior engineer at Apple Computer. At Connectix Mr. Gochee was responsible for product conception, design, implementation, and management of an award winning consumer internet software product.

Tom O'Connell - Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. O'Connell has 26 years experience in the food industry as President of Marketing Concepts, Inc., a consulting firm in the foodservice and retail industries. Tom has worked with hundreds of manufacturers, associations, distributors and retailers, including American Meat Institute, National Restaurant Association, Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, and International Dairy Foods Association.
