A Wave Of Innovation
It
has two wheels, a handlebar, and a police officer riding

Gives an Easy Ride,
But It's the Best on Sidewalks
I
took a drive the other day through downtown
Washington, D.C. I started at Lafayette
Park, across the street from the White House,
and made my way up busy Connecticut Avenue
to DuPont Circle. I continued down several
streets to The Wall Street Journal's Washington
bureau. I drove right through the lobby
and into an elevator. Emerging on an upper
floor, I sailed straight into the newsroom,
maneuvering around cubicles and other obstacles.

Segway Winners Are Scooting Into History

A few stop. One actually asks for a lift. People are
more likely to say 'Hi' to you when you are on one of
these things," said Torrone, one of the first individuals
in the country to receive a Segway Human Transporter.

to Beijing China in December
These
are exciting and entrepreneurial times in China. Private
businesses and property ownership are rapidly evolving.
Host to Olympics
2008 and acceptance to World Trade status effective
12/10/01. The need to learn and understand new ways
has resulted in Don Jones accepting an invitation to
make a two-day presentation on 12/17 and 12/18 about
"A Lifetime of Entrepreneurial Experiences."
The
invite is by the Mayor of Beijing and his management
staff who lead numerous private sector and public sector
enterprises. Don has been a guest visitor numerous times
since a first China visit in the mid-1970's. One of
the visits included the international car race, 1997
Beijing to Paris (www.newyorktoparis1997.com),
driving across the entire Chinese landscape - something
very few Chinese have done or seen.
