Meadowlands is a residential housing development located on 150 acres on Fond du Lac's east side. The site was purchased by Spirit Farms in 1992 and was used as an active farm site for the next two years. Meadowlands was conceived by D. Jones in 1994 as a three-phase development with 377 platted home sites. The first phase, containing 137 single and multi-family sites, was improved in 1995 with installation of streets, utilities and sewer infrastructure. A marketing agreement was established with local developer Roberts Homes for the sale of Wausau modular homes in combination lot-and-home packages. The sale of home sites began later that year.

Meadowlands was sold to Jim Roberts of Roberts Homes in 1997 and currently contains 130 completed homes. Roberts will commence infrastructure construction on 66 sites in Phase II in 2002. Click on the map to enlarge it.
